Always waiting with a year-round welcome, Shorty and the Missus can be found standing proudly in front of their 200-year-old Cape Cod-style home on Nova Scotia’s South Shore. In Lunenburg, to be exact, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, National Historic District and winner of the Communities in Bloom’s most beautiful small town in Canada Award. Honestly, between the breathtaking scenery, sweet shops and yummy restaurants, it’s hard to pick a favourite part, but one thing’s for certain – you’ll have a delightful time deciding for yourself when you stay at Shorty’s Place.

When you stay at Shorty’s Place in Lunenburg you’re just a short drive or 15-minute walk to the picturesque waterfront, which just happens to be the home of the Legendary Bluenose II. Just a turn around the bay and you’ll be at the Bluenose Golf Club. You’ll also be handy to the Bay to Bay Trail perfect for walking and cycling, plus you’ll be near the tennis courts too.

Recently renovated, Shorty’s Place offers accommodations for 7 people. The 2 upstairs bedrooms feature one with a queen bed and the other with one double bed and a twin. The main floor living room includes a futon which converts to a bed and accommodates two more adults.
We look forward to having you stay here at Shorty’s Place Lunenburg, where no stay is long enough!
